Zee en Wind is situated in the east of the island.

Terschelling is a beautiful island where you can relax to your heart’s content. Walk in the woods or through the unspoilt villages. Cycle on the 70 kilometres of traffic free cycle paths which meander through woods and dunes, sunbathe on one of Europe’s widest beaches, with plenty of space for everyone. Enjoy the flora and fauna in the polder or on ‘De Boschplaat’, a European nature reserve. See our charming villages, visit the 12th century church in Hoorn or see the famous ‘Brandaris’ lighthouse in West Terschelling, built in 1594. Spend time in the lovely cafes, watching the historic Friesland sailing ships going in and out of the harbour.
